Naomh Barróg won 3-2 on penalties

Congratulations to our Senior Hurlers who came out on top in what was one of the most exciting matches you will ever see. Playing against heavily odds-on favourites Oulart the Ballagh, we were leading for almost the whole match until a very late goal from Oulart brought the game into extra-time. Extra-time swung both ways with both teams taking leads but eventually when the final whistle blew, it was all level at 1-25 v 2-22.

The players showed fantastic skills, hunger and determination all through the match and then dug deep when it mattered. The match was decided on penalties and we ended up winning 3-2. So it’s on to the Leinster Intermediate Semi-Finals we go!

The management and players would also like to thank all supporters who were there today at Parnell Park. The support was absolutely fantastic and the team really appreciated it. We really hope that as many supporters as possible will make the trip to the semi-final in 2 weeks time.
