Inaugural Ladies’ Married v Singles

On 6th January 2024 we held our inaugural Ladies’ Marrid v Singles football match. This date was chosen to celebrate Nollaig na mBan and it was the first event of our 50th Anniversary Celebrations. The match was played for the Luke Brodigan Cup. A full bio of Luke can be found on our website. In a close match, the singles team edged the victory. In attendance at the match were Luke’s family including his son Viv, daughter Denise and some of his grandchildren. 2 of his granddaughters played in the match and his grandson Jay presented the trophy to the winning captain
